New Delhi: The Indian cricket team faced a devastating loss against the Australian team in the finals of the ICC World Cup 2023, where the former was outclassed by the latter to win their sixth World Cup title.
The players are left heartbroken after their loss, but the fans have also been hit with the melancholy of the loss.
There have been several reports from all around the country, about how has the loss affected the fans.
However, one particular moment after the match made the Indian cricket fans the feeling of someone rubbing salt in their wound, i.e., when the Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh posted a picture of him sitting with his legs over the World Cup trophy.
The fans were angry by Marsh’s action and even slammed him online for doing so, but according to a rumour on the internet, one fan has taken his anger to another level.
FIR filed?
According to the rumour, a fan identifying himself as RTI activist Pandit Keshav has allegedly sent an application for FIR against Mitchell Marsh in Aligarh on Friday for hurting the sentiments of Indian fans.

He has allegedly also forwarded his complaint to PM Modi’s office urging that strict actions should be taken against the cricketer and he should be banned from playing cricket in India.
However, in reality, the news turns out to be fake, as confirmed by the Aligarh Police X (Formerly Known as Twitter) page.
