Babar Azam fails again in Australia, netizens call him Cummins’ bunny, sparks meme fest

Babar Azam misery with his form continues, as he departs cheaply once again in the first innings of the Boxing Day Test match.

New Delhi: The test series between the Australian cricket team and the Pakistani cricket team is turning out to be a feast for the memers community, as they get at least one moment every day, which eventually turns into a meme fest on social media.

Notably, more often than not, it is the Pakistani Cricket team who are under fire by these memers community, as the mighty Aussies have so far given little to no chance to anyone for trolling them with their dominant performance.

Australia and Pakistan are at the moment involved in the Boxing Day Test match, and after the first-day incident of Abdullah Shafique dropping Warner’s sitter in the first slip, the memers got their eyes on the former Pakistani skipper and star player Babar Azam, whose struggles with the bat doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon as he was once again sent back to the pavilion cheaply on the second day of the Boxing Day Test.

Babar, who came out to bat after getting a good start from the Pakistani top order, became Aussie skipper Pat Cummins’ victim for the second time in the three innings of the series and left the field with just one run under his name.

Check out the video below:

The former Pakistani skipper has only 36 runs in the three innings of the series, with a highest of just 12, which marks the continuation of his difficult patch with the bat.

Babar, however, has to step up if Pakistan wants to get something out of the series, as he has been an important part of Men in Green’s success in recent times.

Netizens react

The netizens, however, were taking none of Babar Azam’s past performances into consideration, as they almost immediately responded to Babar’s dismissal on X (Formerly known as Twitter), evidently sparking a meme fest.
