After the play on day 3 of the game, McCullum was signing autographs for the spectators, when he signed a shirt and threw it back, just for it to get stuck on the fence.

New Delhi: Former Blackcap and currently England’s head coach, Brendon McCullum was seen showing her climbing skills in the third Test match between England and Pakistan. A video of Brendon ‘Baz’ McCullum, climbing a fence to release a stuck shirt surfaced on the internet. A fan’s shirt got stuck while McCullum was signing autographs for the spectators and ‘Baz came to the rescue’.

After the play on day 3 of the game, McCullum was signing autographs for the spectators, when he signed a shirt and threw it back, just for it to get stuck on the fence. Surprisingly, he himself climbed the fence and threw the shirt to the fan. Seeing this gesture, England’s Barmy Army shared the video clip on their Twitter handle.

England, who was visiting Pakistan after 17 years, has white-washed the hosts after a 3-0 defeat. Brendon McCullum’s strategy of aggressive test cricket, known as Bazball in popular culture, has won England another series, and this time in the subcontinent.

England won the game quite comfortably on day 4 by chasing 167 in the fourth inning. The game began on a good batting turf like the previous games and Pakistan posted 304 runs, courtesy of 78 runs by Babar Azam and 56 off 93 by Agha Salman down the order. Jack Leach stood out with his spin and picked up four wickets in the first inning. England replied with a score of 354, following a century by in form Harry Brook and fifties from Ollie Pope and Ben Foakes, where Abrar Ahmed and Nauman Ali picked four each.

In the second inning, Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel scored half-centuries as Pakistan could only manage 216 runs. Debutant Rehan Ahmed took a five-wicket haul to limit the hosts and set the stage for a 3-0 victory. Ben Duckett scored an 82* off 78 to anchor the chase.
