Ex-cricketer Venkatesh Prasad croons ‘Shri Ram Stuti’ by Goswami Tulsidas (WATCH)

“‘Shri Ram Stuti’ is an aarti, written by Goswami Tulsidas in the sixteenth century. It is a beautiful call to Lord Rama. Tried to share few stanzas with meaning,” Prasad tweeted along with his rendition of the aarti dedicated to Lord Rama.

New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer on Wednesday posted a video himself, crooning some lines from ‘Shri Ram Stuti’. The book was written by Goswami Tulsidas in the sixteenth century.

“‘Shri Ram Stuti’ is an aarti, written by Goswami Tulsidas in the sixteenth century. It is a beautiful call to Lord Rama. Tried to share few stanzas with meaning,” Prasad tweeted along with his rendition of the aarti dedicated to Lord Rama.


Prasad also took time to explain the meaning of the stanzas that he sang in the video.

The former Men in Blue star in an ad video recently released by Cred, a credit card bill payment app, which earlier made Rahul Dravid ‘Indiranagar ka Gunda’.
The video has been viewed over 34 lakh times on Cred’s YouTube channel.
