‘Fair play Virat’: Barmy Army reacts to Kohli’s ‘trumpet gesture’; Post goes viral

New Delhi: India defeated England by 157 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the 5 match series but Virat Kohli’s trumpet celebration aimed at the Barmy Army on the final day has grabbed the eyeballs.

Virat’s this act came under scrutiny from English fans as they termed it ‘unsportsmanlike behaviour’ on the other hand Michael Vaughan said that there is nothing wrong in Indian captain’s mocking the Barmy Army.

While Barmy calls it a ‘fair play’, ex-English opener Nick Compton and Sports journalist Lawrence Booth did not like this celebration. Vaughan who loved Kohli’s energy and character said that” Virat Kohli is an incredible leader. He’s just got this buzz of energy. He was taking the piss out of the Barmy Army we these trumpet signs”.
