New Delhi: Brazil had a joy ride against South Korea in the round of 16 as they thrashed the Asian team 4-1 while Neymar, who was injured earlier, returned and scored one off a penalty. While the Korean team tried to put up a tough fight, Brazil showed why they are one of the best in the world. After the victory, the Brazilian team moved to the quarter-finals.

In the game, Raphihna showed his class early and Vinicius Jr scored off an assist from Neymar in the 7th minute. Neymar scored the second goal with a smooth penalty shot as he put the ball in the bottom right corner. In the 29th minute, Brazil showed good passing skills and the ‘bicycle’ hero Richarlison scored the third one for his team. Lucas Paqueta scored the fourth goal to lead Brazil to a comfortable position in the first half. Paik Seung-ho scored the only goal for South Korea in the game as they end their World Cup campaign.
Brazil will now face Croatia who defeated Japan in the round of 16 by penalties. The game will be played on December 9 at 8:30 pm IST.
