A Silent Career of Dhammika Niroshana
Dhammika who never played for the Lankan Lions was a very crafty fast bowler as well as a reliable lower-order batsman. Although he did not feature in the national team, Dhammika has featured alongside many Sri Lankan greats who have played for the national team like Angelo Mathews, Upul Tharanga and Farveez Maharoof.
However, he has been a handy contributor to the domestic circuits where he played for the Chilaw Marians CC and then Galle CC. In the first-class and list-A tournaments.
Dhammika has been touted as one of the best all-rounders to come out of the Sri Lankan cricketing circles. However, due to unknown reasons, he gave up his dream only at the age of 20.
