Mrinank Singh is a former U-19 cricketer from Haryana who became a conman after failing to make it big in cricket.

Mrinank Singh was obsessed with leading a lavish lifestyle; he desired to eat at five-star hotels and stay in pricey dining establishments.

The teenage cricket player was determined to live a lavish lifestyle, but he had other ideas. In order to defraud women and foreign firms that sold sports accessories, Mrinank pretended to be an IPL cricket player who played for the Mumbai Indians.

Mrinank also had a fallback identity to avoid arrest if in case he was ever discovered.
