New Delhi: As Argentina beats France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 finals, Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai shared interesting trivia about the same. He shared that the finals of the Qatar World Cup have brought the maximum traffic on Google in the last 25 years. This indicates that Lionel Messi winning the cup was one of the greatest moments ever in the history of the sport.
Sundar Pichai informed that Google Search recorded its highest-ever traffic in the last 25 years. He added, “it was like the entire world was searching about one thing!” After the game, Pichai also shared that in his opinion, this was the greatest football game ever and nobody deserved to win more than Messi.

Sundar Pichai’s love for Lionel Messi and his former club FC Barcelona is not hidden from anyone. The Google CEO has been vocal and supportive of the sport. In 2015, during an #AskSundar session, he stated that he is a big fan of Messi and FC Barcelona. He also met the players from his favourite club in 2017 and got their autographs on a special Google jersey.
Earlier, Pichai also congratulated Morocco for their win over Portugal and being the first African team to qualify for the semis.

In the game, Lionel Messi scored two goals and Di Maria scored one to lead Argentina to a victory. Martinez saving crucial goals, especially the one in the additional time and in the penalties, was a big contributor to the win. Kylian Mbappe tried his best and scored a hat trick to take the game into the penalties, where Argentina emerged to be the better team out of the two.
