Happy birthday MSD: Cricket world sends best wishes to ‘once in a generation’ player

New Delhi: As wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni celebrates his 39th birthday today, wishes are continuing to pour in for the former India skipper. For over a decade, Dhoni’s swashbuckling batting style, especially the famed helicopter shot, gave international bowlers a headache.
In his career as captain, Dhoni led India to 2007 T20I World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy – and he became the first captain to have won all three ICC tournaments.
Indian men’s cricket team coach Ravi Shastri, skipper Virat Kohli, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and all of the cricket world have sent in their good wishes for ‘Captain Cool’ Dhoni.
