
New Delhi: Harbhajan Singh and Co. were forced to issue a public apology after their video of “Tauba Tauba” went viral. According to various disability rights groups, the former cricketers- Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina went viral and ‘mocked’ people with disabilities in a public video.
The video which was viral on the official Instagram handle of Singh showed the three former Indian cricketers dancing to the tunes of the song. According to the three cricketers, the celebration was just part of the enjoyment process which they were doing after India defeated Pakistan in the World Championship of Legends final.

In the viral video, Harbhajan, Raina and Yuvraj were seen limping on one leg and holding their backs. The video was seen as extremely disgraceful and hurtful; para-badminton player Manasi Joshi also condemned this nonchalant act on the part of the Indian cricketers

“Totally Disgraceful…“NPRD takes a dig at the cricketers
One of the sharpest critiques of the viral irresponsible act of the Indian cricketers has been the National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD). The NPRD has called out the brash act as ‘Totally disgraceful’.

In its official post on the X (formerly Twitter), the rights organisation said, “No words are sufficient enough to condemn such behaviour…” Arman Ali who is the executive director of the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People has urged the BCCI to take a look at this video and give stringent punishment to these former Indian players.
