Humiliating welcome for Pak on Australian soil, its cricket team load their own luggage; VIDEO emerges

The team landed in Canberra, Sydney, to play the first match of their 3 test match series, with a practice match against the Australia President XI.

New Delhi: After a disappointing outing at the ICC World Cup 2023 in India, on and off the field, followed by a series of changes in management, the Pakistani Cricket team is finally ready to turn a new leaf with an away series against the World Test champions Australia.

The team landed in Canberra, Sydney, to play the first match of their 3 test match series, with a practice match against the Australia President XI, starting December 6, with the first team being played in Perth from December 14.

However, in a rather unprecedented manner, the Pakistani cricket team faced a humiliating moment at Canberra airport, where the Pakistani cricket team players were forced to load their own luggage in the pick-up truck and take their cricket kits to the hotel.

According to the leaked footage, Pakistani players can be seen loading their own luggage into the pick-up truck, with no members of the Pakistani embassy or Australian management present to receive the team, embarking yet another humiliating moment for Pakistani Cricket.

No official statement or complaint has been made from any party involved so far.

Revamped Pakistan

The Pakistani cricket team and management went through a series of changes, post-ICC 2023 World Cup in India.

The first change was in the form of a chief selector, where Muhammed Hafeez replaced Inzama-ul-Haq, while the bowling coach Morne Morkel resigned, and former Pakistani players Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal took their place.

The biggest change came in the form of captaincy when the Pakistani team saw their regular captain, Babar Azam, step down from his captaincy duties in all three formats.

Fast bowler, Shaheen Afridi and batsman Shan Masood have been appointed by the Pakistani Cricket Board as their T20i and Test captain, respectively, with no official announcement on ODI captaincy made.
