IND v SA: Deepak Chahar trends for mankading attempt, angry reaction on Siraj stepping on boundary rope (VIDEO)

In the 16th over, Chahar tried to run out Tristan Stubbs when he was running out of the crease on the non-striker’s end.

New Delhi: Deepak Chahar has been in the limelight after the third T20I between India and South Africa. Be it a warning against mankading or the controversial catch drop by Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar has become netizens’ favourite after the game. Though India lost the game, the third T20I was full of exciting moments.

In the 16th over, Chahar tried to run out Tristan Stubbs when he was running out of the crease on the non-striker’s end. Chahar moved on with a warning while he was also far away to reach the stumps. Meanwhile, the internet was again divided on the issue of mankading.

Ravichandran Ashwin was again brought into the conversation about mankading, but this time in memes.

In the final over, Siraj took a catch, just to step on the boundry rope. Seeing this, Chahah was caught on camera, using not so appropriate words for his teammate. The anger was clearly visible on his face, while the netizens also figured out the words using their lip reading skills.

In the game, Deepak Chahar began with a fine over giving away just one run. After his quota of four overs, he went for 48 runs picking up one wicket.  With the bat he contributed crucial 31 off 17 balls, but could not lead India to a victory. Rilee Rossouw’s century stole the show and laid the foundation for the Proteas to win the game. However, India won the series 2-1 and now will be playing a three match ODI series against South Africa.
