Meanwhile, several recent updates have been made since the last match between the teams, including the news of batter Ruturaj Gaikwad being ruled out of the series owing to an injury.

“He had complained of pain in his right wrist joint ahead of the first T20I in Lucknow on Thursday and was examined by the BCCI Medical Team,” stated an official statement.
