New Delhi: The Indian women’s cricket team will take on hosts, the Sri Lankan women’s cricket team in the final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 in front of a packed stadium in Dambulla. Two sides will enter the finals of the Asia Cup with contrasting fortunes.
The last time when these two sides met turned out to be a one-sided affair. Nevertheless, the Sri Lankan side will look to do away with the records and win the match in front of the home crowd.
What to expect from the India team at the Dambulla pitch?
The pitch in Dambulla is traditionally a spin-friendly pitch. Naturally, India’s medium pacers will relish bowling to the Lankan batters. The game can be 30-40% decided at the toss.
