
IPL 2021: MS Dhoni’s features in two new avatars
New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni left his fans stunned with his new ‘Monk’ avatar. As IPL 2021 gets ready to roll, the organisers are releasing ad campaigns to set the mood for cricketing extravanza.

India’s leading sports broadcaster, Star Sports, kick-started with their new IPL campaign- ‘India Ka Apna Mantra’. The campaign is to salute the attitude of the generation that is reconsidering conventional rules of the cricket game to overcome invincible challenges. From Virat Kohli channeling his aggression to be called as ‘King’ to Rohit Sharma’s hunger for continued success.
As a part of #IndiaKaApnaMantra, Star Sports has launched two promotional advertisements featuring MS Dhoni in two avatars. The advertisement captured the success mantra and emotions of the players in their chase for success and excellence
The first promo shows Dhoni as a Monk, It took place in a martial arts training camp, where Dhoni can be seen teaching the young monks on how Rohit Sharma acquired his nickname as ‘The Hitman’.

In the second film, the students are playing cricket in the camp. Captain cool can be seen teaching the kids how the hunger for success can become a driver for excellence. Dhoni could also be seen citing Virat Kohli’s example and asking boys to be combative and aggressive like him.
