New Delhi: Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are closing in on one of the biggest boxing events of 2024, with the ex-heavyweight champion and the YouTube sensation-turned-fighter set to take centre stage on Netflix. The match is expected to be the biggest sporting spectacle of the year.
Many experts and pundits have even touted this fight as the next big fight on American soil after the ‘fight of the century’ which had taken place during the 1970s. Interestingly, Netflix which has been one of the biggest streaming platforms of the world has milked this fight to the full extent.
Netflix has begun airing “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson,” a documentary tracking both fighters as they go through gruelling training camps and navigate all the hype heading into the massive bout.

Tyson, who weighed in at 228.4 pounds after stepping onto the scales wearing only a pair of Versace briefs, hit Paul flush on the cheek with his right hand.

“Talking’s over,” Tyson said before making his exit from the stage with members of his entourage. “I didn’t even feel it — he’s angry. He’s an angry little elf…cute slap buddy,” said Paul, who weighed in at 227.2 pounds.
