Mithali Raj on India vs Pak: Why differentiate? ‘My emotions will always be same’ (VIDEO)

New Delhi: Milthali Raj, 39-year old-the Test and ODI captain of the Indian women’s national cricket team announced her retirement from all formats of international cricket on Wednesday (June 8).

Mithali recently talked about about emotions that is linked towards cricket and how she looks upon the matches between any opposition.

Talking about India and Pakistan Match

I feel that these things, as a player, it should better be left for the Board or the International Board as they can judge it better.

What does Mithali think?

As long as player get matches, tournament, because that’s how we get benefit. If players keep playing they will get better.

You don’t think politics between the countries shout impact the sports?

Emotions of whole country is attached towards cricket, as long as the public enjoy matches it should not be looked at as India vs Pakistan,  in-fact matches between India and Australia are also interesting.

Why only relate to India, Pakistan match. Why are we making it so big? It’s important to focus on India game with any team. The emotion should be with the Indian team.

I don’t think we should differentiate between international team. ‘My emotions will always be same when I play against any country.’
