New Delhi: Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez on Wednesday raised serious questions about the economic situation in Pakistan on Twitter. His tweet came after Imran Khan’s supporters and police clashed with each other in Lahore. In the tweet, he said there is no petrol available in any petrol station in Lahore.
He added in his tweet that cash is unavailable in ATM machines. He asked ”why a common man has to suffer from a political decision.” He also tagged the former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, current PM Shehbaz Sharif, and other leaders.
No Petrol available in any petrol station in Lahore??? No cash available in ATM machines?? Why a common man have to suffer from political decisions. @ImranKhanPTI @CMShehbaz @MaryamNSharif @BBhuttoZardari

It is important to note that another Pakistani cricketer earlier in the day tweeted about Yasin Malik. In his tweet, he raised his concern about the human rights issue in India before the verdict of the court on Malik.
Yasin Malik was awarded a life sentence by an NIA court for providing funds to terrorists.
India’s continued attempts to silence critical voices against its blatant human right abuses are futile. Fabricated charges against #YasinMalik will not put a hold to #Kashmir‘s struggle to freedom.
