New Delhi: After 11 days of nonstop sporting action, the Paris Paralympics 2024 has drawn to a close. This year’s Paralympics saw new World Records being set at the biggest and grandest stage of the Para multi-sporting event.
India also achieved a significant high in this year’s Paralympics bringing home 29 medals so far in the Paris Paralympic Games 2024. This included 7 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze medals.

Currently, India sits in the 15th position with China at the pole position. Interestingly, the closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympics 2024 is set to pay tribute to 4400 athletes from 168 Paralympic delegations who participated in 549 events across 22 sports.
