New Delhi: Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam turns 28 and to celebrate the occasion skippers from all teams participating in the T20 World Cup came together for his cake-cutting ceremony. Actually, they addressed a joint press conference in Melbourne and after they celebrated Babar’s birthday. Australia captain Aaron Finch surprised Babar with the birthday cake while he was having a conversation with Scotland’s skipper Richie Berrington.
PCB shared the video on their Twitter handle and wrote, “Special guests for the birthday…We invited all the team captains at the @T20WorldCup to celebrate Babar Azam’s birthday.” In the video, all the skippers can be seen ‘Happy Birthday’ to Babar while he smiles in happiness.

Meanwhile, during the press conference, Babar said that Rohit Sharma is elder than him and there is a lot to learn, while Rohit said that there is no need to talk about the pressure everytime. The Indian skipper also stated that when India and Pakistan players meet they talk about families and buying cars rather than pressure and game.
Babar Azam has made a strong name for himself and being at the prime of his career, he is a batter to fear in the T20 World Cup. He was also the highest run-getter in last year’s T20 World Cup with 303 runs in six games. He has a total of 3231 runs in 87 T20I innings with an average of 43.66.
Pakistan will start their tournament campaign against India on October 23. In the Asia Cup 2022, they played two games and won one each.
