New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, leg four has started with two exhilarating matches as four teams who were in desperate search of a win, were on the court.
In the first match of the day, played at the SDAT Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium, in Chennai, the hosts Tamil Thalaivas were up against Patna Pirates, with both teams in desperate search of a win.
Notably, Gujarat Giants still remains the only team to win the first match of their home leg, as Tamil Thalaivas became the latest victim of the home leg curse, as they suffered a huge 13-point loss against Pirates.
Pirates, after the early lead, allowed the Thalaivas to come back, but Chennai’s own M. Sudhakar, while playing for Pirates, took away all the chances of victory away from the home team, and scored his second super-10 of his career, and took the Patna Pirates back on the winning tracks.
Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, Haryana Steelers, a team who was on a hot winning streak before the match, took on the Telugu Titans, who were still in search of their first win of the season.
The match was a complete roller coaster ride as both teams were playing pretty evenly till the 38th minute of the match when, in the final two minutes of the game, Titans marched forward to register their first win of the season.
Titans capitalized on the match, with their defence, as they had two defenders with a high 5 in their account.
