New Delhi: Leg eight of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, has finally come to an end, as the hosts suffered yet another defeat and are now inches away from being the first elimination of the season.
With only four more legs to go in league stages, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi are the only teams who are looking like strong playoff contenders, while UP Yoddhas and Telugu Titans are the two teams who are standing at the gates of elimination.
On Wednesday, Gachibowli Indoor Stadium of Hyderabad hosted two final games of the leg, with Dabang Delhi taking on Haryana Steelers while Tamil Thalaivas going toe-to-toe with Telugu Titans.
In the first match of the day, Dabang Delhi and Haryana Steelers took the court in a bid to boost their playoff chances.
The match was expected to be close since the beginning, and so it delivered, as the difference between the winner and loser was only two points, and the final scoreline read 35 to 32 in Delhi’s favour.
