New Delhi: Leg five of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, played the final matches of the year 2023 as the league will enter a more intense phase in the year 2024.

Noida’s Noida Indoor Stadium hosted the final two matches of 2023 of the Pro Kabaddi League season 10, as Gujarat Giants went toe-to-toe with the Bengal Warriors, while Bengaluru Bulls took on the Tamil Thalaivas.

In the first match of the day, Fazel Atrachali-led Gujarat Giants had a chance to climb back to the top of the table with a win against the Bengal Warriors, and that was exactly what the Giants did.

Gujarat Giants were on top of their game, as they never choked both the defence and raiding of the Warriors, as they finished the match with a score line of 51 to 42 in their favour.

Gujarat’s Prateek Dahiya, with his incredible outing of 22 raid points and three tackle points, was the hero of the night.

In the second match of the day, two struggling sides, Bengaluru Bulls and Tamil Thalaivas took on each other, with the former coming out on top, with the barest of bare margin.

Thalaivas dominated the first half of the match, but the Bulls made a strong comeback in the match, and were able to run away with a win in the final minutes of the match.

Bharat (9 raid points) and Saurabh Nandal (4 tackle points) were the heroes of the night for the Bulls.

The first day of the year 2024 will also feature two big matches, with Puneri Paltan taking on the Telugu Titans in the first match, while the Patna Pirates and UP Yoddhas will be tussling it out in the second match.
