PKL 2023: Puneri Paltan cements their top spot with a huge win over Pirates, check out the complete points table

Puneri Paltan defeats the three time champions Patna Pirates by a monstrous margin of 18 points.

New Delhi: Leg four of the Pro Kabaddi League, season 10, is about to end after creating a number of memorable moments in the last six days.

The last day of the Chennai leg at the SDAT Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium will feature two highly anticipated matches as the defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers will take on the Dabang Delhi KC in their bid to climb higher in the points table.

Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, the hosts Tamil Thalaivas will welcome the Gujarat Giants in order to register their first win in their home leg, as they have lost all three they have played so far.

Notably, on the second last day of the leg, Chennai’s SDAT Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium hosted only one match, where the table toppers Puneri Paltan took on the Patna Pirates.

Pirates made an early lead in the match, as they reduced the Paltan to three players inside the first 10 minutes, but Pankaj Mohite’s five-point raid turned the match in Paltan’s favour, and after that moment, the men in orange did not allow any breathing space to the Pirates, ending the match with a scoreline of 46-28, in their favour.

With this win, the Paltans increased the gap at the top with others, while the Pirates dropped one spot further to the ninth spot in the points table.
