India’s last men’s archer Pravin Jadhav lost the opening round against Chinese archer Kao Wenchao to crash out of the Men’s Individual 1/32 round.

New Delhi: India’s last men’s archer Pravin Jadhav lost the opening round against Chinese archer Kao Wenchao to crash out of the Men’s Individual 1/32 round. Jadhav lost the match 6-0 to hand over the Chinese archer an easy win. With Pravin’s exit, the Indian men’s archery contingent gets completely routed out of the Paris Olympics 2024.

Although the men’s challenge at the Paris Olympics 2024 is over, Indian fans can continue to watch Indian archers as Deepika Kumari and Bhajan Kaur enter the pre-quarters. Tarundeep Rai, the other archer in the men’s individual round of 32 in Paris Olympics 2024 also crashed out of the tournament against Tom Hall of Great Britain.


Deepika Kumari who is set to take the field against Michelle Kroppen will compete on the 3rd of August, Saturday at the Quarterfinals.
