New Delhi: In a hilarious attempt, Umpire Aleem Dar tried to stop Dahani from celebrating the wicket, but he failed to do so. This incident took place while Multan Sultans were playing against Quetta Gladiators at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
The video which is now being widely circulated on social media is from the ongoing PSL match 2022. It was first shared by Pakistan Super League on its official Twitter handle.
In the video, Dahani can be seen turning back and sprinted towards the crowd to celebrate the wicket, where Umpire Aleem Dar can be seen jokingly trying to stop Dahani.
This happened in the 14th over of the Gladiators’ innings after Dahani dismissed Naseem Shah.
Currently, Multan Sultans, led by Mohammad Rizwan is at the top of the points table with 16 points after playing 9 games. While, Multan currently hold a four-point advantage over second-placed Lahore Qalandars, after defeating the Islamabad United on Saturday.

Multan Sultans successfully won the match by 117-run margin at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
In 2021 PSL, Dahani was the highest wicket-taker, he had taken 12 wickets in the current edition too. The 23-year-old, Dahani made his debut for Pakistan in T20I against Bangladesh in 2021.
