New Delhi: The mega-auction is just around the corner and IPL is already gathering pace with all rumours and gossip taking the front seat. Amidst all these rumours, the future of KL Rahul will be one of the major talking points which is swinging like a pendulum. Earlier, there were rumours that the right-hand batsman might not find himself in the LSG dugout again going ahead with IPL 2025 after having a serious fallout with the management.
But as things currently, Sanjiv Goenka, the owner of LSG has currently backtracked from his critical views and is ready to accept Rahul back in the side. However, according to reports it is believed that the Goenka administration has not offered Rahul the captain’s armband going ahead with the IPL 2025.
This harsh decision on the part of the administration comes after KL Rahul had a massive fallout with the Goenka administration in the recently concluded season of the IPL. The owner and the captain were both at loggerheads and were seen in the middle of a heated confrontation. This has led many people to believe that Rahul’s career at Lucknow was done for good! However, the latest comments from Goenka have rubbished all the apprehensions that people had about Rahul and his Lucknow dreams.
Goenka backtracks from his views after throwing Rahul under the bus!
Speaking about Rahul’s inclusion in the team, the Goenka administration has tried to shove off the issue as a ‘normal’ procedural meet. On asked about KL Rahul’s future, Sanjeev had the following words to say-
