New Delhi: Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza’s divorce from her Pakistani husband Shoaib Malik has become a talking point ever since the former posted his wedding pictures with his new wife Sana Javed.
Taking to his Twitter (X) handle, the former Pakistani batsman announced the shocking news of his marriage by dropping a couple of pictures from his wedding ceremony with the Pakistani actress. He also attached a captain to the pics that read, “And we created you in Paris.”

Sania Mirza divorced Shoaib Malik by Khula?
Meanwhile, Sania Mirza’s father Imar Mirza also broke his silence on the matter & confirmed his daughter’s divorce with Shoaib. He also informed that it was Sania who had divorced the Pakistani batter by using a process called ‘Khula.’
For those who don’t know, Khula is a practice in Islamic Sharia law that lets a woman divorce her husband unilaterally and part ways with him.

Notably, Sania already hinted at her separation from her husband Shoaib Malik in a cryptic post which she dropped on her Instagram just a couple of days before the cricketer exchanged wedding vows with Sana Javed.
In her viral post, the Tennis sensation shared a picture featuring a cryptic quote about marriage and divorce that raised several eyebrows on Social media.
