“This could be Virat’s last tour of England…” Stuart Broad predicts Virat Kohli’s retirement

New Delhi: After more than a decade of service to the Indian cricket team, India’s talismanic cricketer Virat Kohli is reaching the D-day when he will be saying goodbye to the game. However, before that India is set to play a long test series which includes an upcoming New Zealand tour as well as the much-awaited Border Gavaskar trophy.


Subsequently, India will take on England in a five-match series starting in Leeds on June 20 2025. There will be matches at Edgbaston, Lord’s, Old Trafford and The Oval. The England team is going through a hot and cold form and it will be a golden opportunity for Team India to win the England series.


India last won a Test series in England in 2007, and the Rohit Sharma-led side would want to end that drought.

Former England star predicts Kohli’s retirement

Meanwhile, England’s former pacer Stuart Broad has predicted Virat’s retirement plans. Broad was quoted by nottinghampost that-

Although Broad’s prediction might not turn out to be true given the age and the newfound talents that India has at its disposal, one can predict that the end for Kohli is drawing near.

Kohli make giant leaps in ICC Test ranking for Batters

Meanwhile, King Kohli has finally crawled back into the top 10 of the ICC Test ranking to finish in sixth place. Virat had scored 47 and 29 (not out) in both innings of the 2nd Test against Bangladesh.

This has been a remarkable achievement for King Kohli as he reaches the twilight of his career. Other than Virat Kohli, India’s future star and talented left-handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was the other player who reached a career-best of third on the ICC Test ranking.
