Virat’s special gift for Shakib!

Meanwhile, besides cricketing records and statistics, a strong sense of camaraderie was seen between Virat Kohli and Shakib al Hasan. Shakib who recently announced his retirement was playing his last test for his side in India. The Bangladeshi all-rounder has been a long-time server for his country and has been the greatest player and all-rounder to come out of the Bangladeshi system. Naturally, as an act of courtesy, Virat Kohli gave his bat to Shakib who is all set to play a new innings.

Kohli was seen walking towards the Bangladesh team and handing over his bat to Bangladesh’s greatest-ever cricketer. The duo was seen exchanging pleasantries and sharing a laugh as Shakib did a bit of shadow driving with the willow.
