Virender Sehwag shuts down trolls with epic reply, over ‘Pakistan Zindabhaag’ tweet

Sehwag earlier trolled Pakistan, with his post on X (Formerly known as Twitter), after New Zealand’s win over Sri Lanka.

New Delhi: The journey of the Pakistani cricket team officially came to an end on Saturday after the English team won the toss and opted to bat first, taking away whatever hopes they had for qualification.

However, they were already considered eliminated after New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka with 5 wickets and 160 balls to spare.

Many internet users started to troll Pakistan, as soon as New Zealand scored their winning runs. One such internet user was former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, who tweeted a picture with the caption, “Pakistan Zindabhaag! Have a safe flight back home,” for which he also faced criticism.

However, Sehwag has come up with an epic reply to, everyone who criticises him for his post.

Sehwag’s epic reply

Sehwag came up with yet another tweet, in which he added screenshots of previous incidents where Pakistani legends and fans can be seen trolling India for their loss.

The tweet captioned,”In the 21st century there have been 6 ODI world cups. In 6 attempts, only once in 2007 did we not qualify for the semi-finals and have qualified in 5 of the last 6 World cups. On the other hand only once have Pakistan qualified for the semis in 6 attempts in 2011. And they come up with ridiculous allegations blaming ICC and BCCI of changing balls and pitch. Their Prime Minister mocks us when we lose to another team despite having beaten them. Upon reaching here, their player posts pictures of enjoying tea in Hyderabad with sarcasm to mock our soldier. The PCB chief on camera refers to our country as Dushman Mulk. And they expect love for their hate. And those preaching class, that is a two way street. Jo Achha vyavhar kare uske saath hum bahut hi achhe, aur jo aisa vyavhar kare toh sahi mauke par soot samet lautana is my way. On field bhi, off-field bhi.”

Internet reaction to Sehwag’s earlier tweet

After Sehwag’s initial post, many internet users, mostly Pakistani fans, referred to Sehwag’s post as distasteful, and also some of the Indian fans who did not seem to approve of Sehwag’s method of trolling.
