New Delhi: Ever since being announced as the new skipper of IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been constantly making headlines for various reasons.

For those who don’t know, Hardik returned to his former franchise Mumbai Indians last month after leading IPL’s newest team Gujrat Titans for two good years.

Following the cricketer’s homecoming to Mumbai, the franchise made a shocking decision to sack their most successful captain Rohit Sharma, and give the helm of the team to the former GT captain.

This left many cricket fans in fumes as they went on social media and brutally trolled the franchise owners for disrespecting the Indian Captain.

While some burned the MI’s jerseys to stage their protests, others unfollowed the franchise on social media platforms, causing it to lose over 5 lakh followers within days.
