New Delhi: Team India kick-started their World Cup campaign on a high note by convincingly defeating the mighty Australian team with 6 wickets in Chennai’s P Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday.

Australian skipper Pat Cummins opted to bat first after winning toss, hoping to set a huge target. However, Indian bowlers tore into the Australian batting order and bowled them out for a score of 199 runs in 49. (https://www.plu68.com/) 3 overs.

Though, the match gave adrenalin rush to the fans owing to battle of titans, however, it was King Kohli who walked away with all the attention, owing to his spectacular performance & also when he was caught up in the pavilion, venting his frustration over missing century by a whisker.

Virat’s exceptional fielding effort

Although all the Indian fielders gave their 100% in saving runs for their team with utmost dedication, It was Virat who stood out from the rest and stunned the team in yellow with his exceptional agility and fielding effort.

His outstanding catch that put an end to Australian opener Michael Marsh’s inning charged up the rest of his teammates who then never gave any chance of breathing to the Australian team for the rest of the game.

Impressed with Kohli’s exceptional fielding, Indian team management also decided to appreciate the cricketer by handing him over a medal for being the best fielder of the match.

Team India’s fielding coach Dilip Kumar himself came forward to award the batting genius with the medal and a video of the same is now going viral on the internet.

Virat angry after missing out century

Meanwhile, another clip showcasing Virat Kohli’s hunger for runs and performing for his side is also making rounds on Social media.

In the video, Virat is seen sitting in the dugout with a frustrated expression on his face despite playing a match-defining knock for his team in the match against Australia.

Kohli scored a remarkable 85 off 116 deliveries to bring India back the game but failed to finish things off for his side after losing his wicket on Josh Hazelwood’s ball while trying to play a pull shot at the short mid-wicket.
