About Aditi
In order to provide Aditi with better access to sporting facilities, her family relocated to Satara City from a town 15 kilometres distant. Her dad, Gopichand, is a math teacher in Satara. Gopichand was a sports fanatic, and he encouraged his daughter to participate in at least one activity.
About the time she was 12, Gopichand started introducing her to several sports at the city’s Shahu Stadium. Aditi saw a small group over to one side, who were putting up their targets and fixing their arrows for an archery competition.
