The 78-year-old continued by saying that he made the decision to leave his positions at TKO and WWE because of respect for those who helped to develop a brand into a major international force.

New Delhi: Following the filing of criminal charges against the former chairman and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) by a former employee, Vince McMahon announced his resignation from both WWE and his parent company TKO on Saturday.

Janel Grant’s allegations that she was subjected to physical and psychological abuse while Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE put him in serious danger.

Janel also claimed that the former chairman of WWE paid her to keep her from suing him in Connecticut, USA.

Grant went on to say that Linda McMahon, the wife of Vince McMahon, consented to pay her US$ 3 million in exchange for his signing a non-disclosure agreement in order to keep her extramarital affair secret.

According to reports, Vince McMahon’s wife sacked Janel Grant from WWE in March 2022 after learning about her relationship. Grant had worked for the firm since June 2019.

Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon in Connecticut on Friday, which eventually resulted in Vince resigning from his roles at TKO and WWE.
