1] The best in the world, ‘CM Punk,’ made his return
WWE shocked the world when the most unexpected thing any of their fans could expect during the final moments of the WWE Survivor Series War Games was pay-per-view.
While everyone was enjoying the baby face victory in the main event of the pay-per-view, out comes CM Punk, with his iconic theme song, sending the fans and the locker room into a state of frenzy.
2] The Apex Predator is back in the hunting business
For almost six months, Judgement Day was feuding with Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, and when the faction attacked Seth Rollins and Jey Uso in during a RAW taping, RAW’s general manager announced a War Games match between the Judgement Day, along with Drew McIntyre against Cody, Seth, Jey, and a partner of their choosing.
The following week, it was announced by Cody that the fifth member of their group was going to be Randy Orton, and sure enough, the Viper made his return to help his team secure a hard-fought victory against their opponents and ended his 18 months hiatus after being taken out by the Bloodline.
3] Sami Zayn steps up
The journey of Sami Zayn in Bloodline has to be one of the most iconic stories the writers have ever created. After months of being on an emotional roller coaster about his allegiance with Roman Reign’s faction.
The ultimate underdog finally, pulled the trigger on the tribal chief during the Royal Rumble 2023 tapings, setting another iconic storyline of Bloodline vs Sami Zayn in the upcoming months, in motion.
4] Hottest free agent is all WWE now
WWE kept shocking the world with their signings during the entirety of 2023, and one of the top on that list was the acquisition of Jade Cargill from AEW.
Although Cargill is yet to make her in ring debut in WWE, her presence has been more than enough to send the chills around the arena.
5] LA Knight, “YEAH”
During the September 22, tapings of SmackDown, AJ Styles was stretchered out of the WWE arena, moments after being announced as John Cena’s tag team partner, against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso of the bloodline.
A week later, the bloodline tried to take out Cena, but the hottest rising star of the company, LA Knight, made the save, setting the poetic journey of the megastar in motion.
