Zimbabwe set the highest scored recorded in T20 Cricket against Gambia

Zimbabwe posted 344/4 in 20 overs against Gambia to record the highest score in T20 cricket.

New Delhi: In yet another historic day for International cricket, Zimbabwe cricket has scripted a golden chapter in their T20 history by posting the highest T20 total against the Gambia cricket side. The Zimbabwean total eclipsed the previous best held by Nepal against Mongolia during the Asian Games.

The architect of the Zimbabwean innings was their ambidextrous skipper, Sikandar Raza who piled on the mediocrity of the Gambian bowlers. Sikandar Raza blasted 133 not out off just 43 balls with 15 sixes at an impossible strike rate of 309.30. Raza’s century is the first by a Zimbabwe player in men’s T20Is with Dion Myers’ 96 last night against Rwanda the highest score so far for them. His 15 sixes in the joint-fourth-most by a player in men’s T20Is.
