Corona cases in India

The overall cases reached 91,77,841including 4,38,667 active cases and 86,04,955 recoveries. With 480 new deaths, the death toll mounted to 1,34,218.

The overall cases reached 91,39,866 including 4,43,486 active cases and 85,62,641 recoveries. With 511 new deaths, the death toll mounted to 1,33,738.

Total active cases at 4,40,962 Total discharged cases at 85,21,617 with 43,493 new discharges in last 24 hrs.

The total figure includes 4,39,747 active cases and 84,78,124 recoveries. The death toll due to the virus currently stands at 1,32,726, with 564 reported in the last 24 hours.

India fights Corona: The Union Health Ministry Monday said nearly 50 per cent of the deaths due to Covid-19 in India were concentrated in 25 districts in eight states. Of this, 15 districts were in Maharashtra.

Yet another grim milestone breached in India as pandemic rages. The country’s fatality rate is significantly lower than global average.

In pursuance of the "Test, Track and Treat" strategy, India is geared up to reach the testing capacity of 10 lakh tests per day.

Uttar Pradesh reported 1,248 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, said Amit Mohan Prasad, State Principal Secretary (Health) on Thursday.

Currently, there are 23,651 active cases while 8,324 COVID-19 positive patients have been cured/discharged.

The count of COVID-19 cases in Delhi reached 1,154 on Sunday. The national capital is one of the worst-affected regions by the infection in the country as it comes second only to Maharashtra which has 1,982 cases.
