New Delhi: Reliance Jio’s first smartphone JioPhone next has been made available at the company’s offline stores across India. It is regarded as the most affordable 4G smartphone in the market. If you have any plan to buy an android phone for under Rs 8,000, it could be the best phone for you.

Notably, the phone was launched on November 4, 2021, in India. In the beginning, it was only available for sale through online mode.

Jio Phone specification 

JioPhone Next offers a small 5.45-inch HD+ display.

It has been powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor and its runs on Pragati OS, a tweaked version of Android 11 GO.

It comes with 2GB RAM + 32GB Storage facility.

On the camera front, the phone offers a single 13-megapixel main camera. For selfie lovers, the company has provided an 8-megapixel camera.

The manufacturer also provided a 3500mAh battery to supply power to the hardware and software of the phone.

The drawback of the phone is that the 4G feature will only work with Jio SIM. On putting SIMs from other networks, it will support 2G networks.

Price and other features

One can purchase the phone by paying Rs 6,499 in India. The company also offers EMI tariff plans for those who do not wish to pay the price at once.

Notably, the phone can be taken home by paying a down payment of Rs 1,999 and a processing fee of Rs 501.

The installment plan includes 24-month and 18-month options. However, the 24-month option will cost you Rs 9,700 on the monthly installment of Rs 300.

Other features of the phone are: Support of 10 regional languages, including Hindi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, hotspot, OTG support, automatic software, and security update.
