New Delhi: Google is today celebrating Mother’s Day 2022 with a beautiful GIF doddle on the search engine’s homepage.
Today’s doodle showcased four slides representing the relationship between a mother and a child.
In the first slide, a child’s fist is shown holding mother’s little finger while the second image is an illustration of two hands reading braille.
While in the third slide, hand washing is showcased, on the last and final image the hands of a mother and their child is shown planting a sapling.
The main message behind these illustrations are while all the living things need their Mom, in the same way mother earth too needs us to save and protect it and it all depends in the hand of humanity.
Google often dedicates its doodle on such special occasions to mark the importance of the particular day.
Mothers Day is one such important day which is celebrated across the globe. Every year, Mother’s day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May to honour all the mothers.
Mother’s Day, commonly honoured as national holiday in the United States. This day is however neither a federal nor a public holiday.
Not all countries celebrate Mother’s Day on the same day, but the second Sunday in May is celebrated as Mother’s Day in more than 50 countries.
