New Delhi: The much-awaited taser of the second installment of cult classic blockbuster Gadar is all set for its release tomorrow. The teaser of the second edition of the iconic movie will be dropped during the premiere of the movie’s first part on 9th of June.

With Several actors including Sunny Doel and Amisha Patel set to reprise their iconic roles from the original movie under the same director Anil Sharma, the audience is guaranteed to get a sweet dose of Nostalgia while watching the movie.

However, we all are definitely going to miss these actors who played unforgettable pivotal roles in the first edition of the mega-hit but unfortunately won’t be a part of its second installment.

Amrish Puri (Ashraf Ali)

Vivek Shauq (Darmiyaan Singh)

The actor who played the important role of Tara Singh’s best buddy Darmiyaan Singh won’t be seen in the upcoming film as he died after having a heart attack in January 2011.

The makers of the movie have kept its plot hidden in order to generate excitement and curiosity amongst the public. However, as per some unofficial sources, the event in the movie’s sequel is set against the background of the 1971s Indo- Pakistani with its events taking place in the city of Lahore.

It is being further speculated that Sunny Doel’s iconic Character Tara Singh will be seen confronting the army in the movie.

Talking about Gadar 2’s release, the highly awaited sequel is all set to hit the big screens during the 76th independence day week on 11th August 2023.
