New Delhi: Sri Lankan cricket team kept their title defence hopes alive on Thursday, after defeating Pakistan and setting up their clash with India on Sunday. While all other teams in the tournament revolve around a few selective individuals to achieve success, Sri Lanka, on the other hand, has managed to reach the finals with the collective efforts of the whole team. Every match, the Sri Lankan team produces a new match-winner, be it Patheerana against Afghanistan, Sadeera against Bangladesh, Wellalage against India or Kusal Perera against Pakistan. Every other match, someone new has raised his hand to take Sri Lanka home or at least tried to take them home. So, without any doubt, this makes Sri Lanka the team to beat in the tournament.
