New Delhi: Over 3000 tones of aromatic rice has reached Ayodhya for the mega Ram Temple event schedules to take place on the 22nd of January. The rice has been dispatched from Chhattisgarh for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo sai flagged off 11 trucks carrying the rice consignment. The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Rice Millers association has offered this rice to be used as ‘Prasad’ for the Ram Temple event. The Chief Minister and his colleagues from the cabinet also offered prayers at the temple and wished prosperity and happiness of the state. The aromatic rice symbolizes the state’s rich agricultural heritage.
