Uttrakhand gets its first-ever Vande Bharat Express Train

The train will cover a distance of 302 km in 5 hours and will run six days a week, except on Wednesday.

New Delhi: The state of Uttrakhand got its first Vande Bharat Express train on Thursday. It is India’s 17th and state’s first-ever Vande Bharat. The train will run between Delhi’s Anand Vihar terminal and Dehradun. On Thursday PM  Modi virtually inaugurated the train at 11 AM. After its successful trial on Tuesday, now it is open to the common people. The train will cover a distance of 302 km in 5 hours and will run six days a week, except on Wednesday. The state’s first-ever Vande Bharat is scheduled to depart at 7:00 AM from Dehradun and will reach  Delhi at 11:45 AM and similarly will depart at 5:50 PM from Anand Vihar and will reach Dehradun at 10:35 PM.
