Photo of PM Modi bowing to Chinese President is fake... Here is the fact-check
New Delhi: A Photo of PM Modi bowing in front of the Chinese President Xi Jinping is going viral on social media. Trollers are saying that Our PM Modi bowed his head in front of the President of China and trying to connect this photo with the face-off that happened in the Galwan valley few days ago.
Now before we tell you the actual reality of this photo, let us tell you that this photo is also being shared by some politicians with their verified accounts. One is from Congress and other one is from Aam Aadmi Party.
Devashish Jarariya describes himself as the former Congress candidate from the Bhind on his twitter account and he shared this image from his verified account.
In his twitter profile, he can be seen with the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath.
Apart from this, An official named Amit Mishra of Aam Aadmi Party also tweeted this photo from his verified account. Writing a posted on social media he posted a photo of Veer Savarkar alongside this viral photo of PM Modi and wrote that, one bowed his head in front of the British and the other bowed his head in front of China.
Did PM Modi really bowed his head in front of Xi Jinping?
Actually this viral picture which is being shared by many on social media is absolutely fake. The photo has been edit and morphed.
In September 2014, PM Modi visited Tumkur in Karnataka to inaugurate a food park where he was welcomed by the Mayor of the city (then) Geeta Rudresh on his arrival. The photo of bending posture is from that incident and the fake image is created by merging two photos.
We all know that their is tension on the border between China and India, and some people are engaged in spoiling the reputation of the PM Modi. In view of this, Mumbai BJP spokesperson Suresh Nakhua lodged a complaint against the Amit Mishra of AAP.
