5 times a headline from ‘The Fauxy’ became real

It might be funny to see a satire portal predicting news but at the same time, it also says how ridiculous society has become. It’s time to introspect and improvise.

Amid the Russian military invasion in Ukraine, thousands of people belonging to other nationalities have been stuck in the conflict-ravaged country for over a week. The government of these countries are trying their best to evacuate their people. Pakistan has so far evacuated 1,476 of its nationals. Amidst this, Pakistan witnessed a major blast in Peshawar city that killed 57 people.

The Fauxy, a satire portal, that claims to be “The Future Of News” had done a satirical piece which said that –

Pakistani students in Ukraine refuse to come back, say Ukraine still safer than Pakistan

The news turned out to be true as one Pakistani reported that a Pakistani student who was safely evacuated from Ukraine died in the Peshawar blast.

However, this is not the first time The Fauxy has proved itself Future Of News.

Earlier, when IT Dept conducted a raid at SonuSood’s house, the actor claimed that IT officers appreciated him for his philanthropic work. Coincidentally, The Fauxy had already done a story on it in its Hindi Portal

When India started its and the world’s largest vaccination drive and people were hesitant, many opposition leaders called the vaccine ‘BJP Vaccine’ or ‘Modi Vaccine’.

Taking a dig on these opposition leaders, The Fauxy wrote,

Man Starts Liking Modi, BJP, and RSS After Taking Vaccine

A few days later, Shah Faesal, the bureaucrat turned politician from Jammu and Kashmir started praising Modi Govt, previously he had been a big Modi critic.

When farmers’ protest was at its peak, the popular pop singer Rihanna extended her support. The Fauxy then wrote an article on it

Rihanna Supports Protesting Farmers, Farmers Promise Collaboration In Their Next Punjabi Pop Album

The news turned out to be ‘true’ the very next day when singer Diljit Dosanjh announced his album ‘RiRi’ with Rihanna.

The fifth time, The Fauxy predicted the news much before it happened was when #RippedJeans was trending across the country, which was a result of a statement by then Uttarakhand CM TirathRawat.

The Fauxy in its Hindi portal wrote about a girl ripping her jeans and injuring herself while doing so.

It might be funny to see a satire portal predicting news but at the same time, it also says how ridiculous society has become. It’s time to introspect and improvise.
