New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on a two-day trip to Germany for the G7 Summit, shared a lighter moment with French President Emmanuel Macron. The two heads of state were seen sipping tea and holding Chai pe Charcha, while the Group of Seven geared up for high-level talks ranging over many multilateral issues.
Earlier in the day, the two world leaders were also seen greeting each other with a hug and getting engrossed in an animated conversation.

PM Modi shares excellent camaraderie with the world’s most powerful leaders and it is evident in the photo-op events. Yesterday, on the sidelines of G7 Summit, PM Modi was given rousing reception by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
In the video footage, Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau was also seen exchanging pleasantries and sharing warm moment with the Prime Minister. The moment got bigger even US President Joe Biden walked upto PM Modi, tapped his back, shook hands and exchanged warm greetings.
All this has prompted netizens to gloat over India’s rising prominence on the world stage. Many users commented that the way global leaders are greeting PM Modi is indicative of respect and stature that India commands as a nation now.
