The post, which emerged just two days ago, has since garnered significant attention on the platform, amassing over 12,000 likes and more than 2,000 comments.

One individual pointed out, “And that’s why no contact delivery is such a popular choice even without covid.” Echoing similar sentiments, another user shared, “This is why I, and virtually every woman I know, always choose no contact delivery. No thanks.” The concerning aspect of the incident lies in the delivery agent’s knowledge of the customer’s address, leading some to question potential safety risks, with one user stating, “How do we know he’s not a straight-up stalker? It’s not okay to do this during a business transaction. I would report him so Doordash can blacklist him from delivering to you.”

Many customers expressed their preference for no-contact deliveries and shared personal precautions they have taken, such as changing names on the app or refusing to come out if called by the delivery agent. The incident brings attention to the responsibility delivery platforms have in safeguarding their customers’ privacy and ensuring that such inappropriate behavior is promptly addressed and rectified.
