No confidence motion: Will Imran Khan be ousted as Pak PM? Here are top updates

Silver lining for Imran could be mending ties with former allies, who are clamouring for removal of Usman Buzdar, Punjab chief minister. If their demands are met, they could swing in his favour.

New Delhi: As the beleaguered Imran Khan grapples with one of most difficult phase in his tenure as Pakistan PM, speculations are doing rounds about his probable ouster from power.

Some Pakistan reports claim that Pakistani Army is contemplating a change of guard and may replace Imran with another leader for the top post.

According to top sources, top military generals including Pak Army chief General Javed Bajwa are peeved with Imran’s handling of affairs and are set to cut short his innings as country’s premiere. It also says that decision to this effect is likely to be firmed up in days to come.

Imran Khan raised the hackles of Pak military generals as he recently praised India’s foreign policy and also effusively praised the Indian Army.
